BNMC Kogi Chapter Hit The Streets, Canvasses Support for President Buhari’s Re-election Bid

As the 2019 polls draw near, Kogi State Chapter of Buhari New Media Center, one of the major organizations fronting President Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election bid has taken its campaigns to the streets of Lokoja, the capital of the state.
The group was led by its Director General in the State, Mr Williams Charles Oluwatoyin.
The BNMC, which was well received by market women, traders and other residents of the town were mobbed in some of the areas visited as the group was told of how the Buhari administration has impacted the lives of the common man.
Armed with printed materials detailing the achievements of President Muhammadu Buhari in various sectors even as the group shared handbills and other graphic materials with the eager members of the public ready to listen to what they had to say.
The campaign took the group to micro business set ups along the popular Ibrahim Taiwo Road, Olusegun Obasanjo Square, Cantonment Street, Murtala Muhammed Road, the Old Market and adjoining areas and streets.
Several people met on the street admitted conviction by the leadership qualities of the President and the need for him to continue in office.
The group also took the message of the Market Moni Social Investment and other Programmes of the present administration to the people and urged them to go ahead and register to be able to access the funds.
Some of those who have accessed the fund and benefitted from other programmes of the administration, applauded the government for its pro-masses policies and pledged to support the President in the forthcoming election.
The BNMC also met some Market Moni agents attending to intending beneficiaries who they interacted with on the people’s conduct and the need to ensure they attended to evevryone.
Reacting to the event, the Kogi State Director General, Buhari New Media Center, Mr Williams Charles Oluwatoyin said the street engagement became necessary as it served as an avenue for the organization to take the message of President Buhari to members of the public and tell the people why they should support the President.
He expressed grattitude to members of the state BNMC for their dedication to the group’s objectives and urged them not to relent in the quest to ensure the President gets re-elected in next year’s election.
